WEST AFRICA YOUTH COUNCIL SET TO HOST THE MAIDEN INVESTITURE; LEGION OF WEST AFRICA YOUTH HONOR
Following the creation of the West Africa Youth International Honor “West Africa Youth Legion of Honor” by the West Africa Youth Council, which is created to recognize outstanding individuals who have made positive contributions to the development of West Africa especially relating to youth inclusiveness in leadership, economic participation, gender balance, and political participation.
The West Africa Youth Legion of Honour’s evaluation committee after its last meeting concluded plans to host the maiden edition of the investiture with the theme Youth Engagement for Bilateral Economic Enhancement.
In this edition, we will be honoring 15 outstanding individuals with the “Order of West Africa Legion of Honor (OWYL)” and subsequently induct them into the West Africa Youth Legion Hall of Fame.
The nominees for this edition would be selected individuals with a proven track record in Social Impact, Economic Impact, Political Impact, Corporate Leadership, Advocacy, Activism, and individuals pushing other youth-related causes across West Africa.
The event will adhere to #COVID19 principles, we urge the general public to also participate via online live stream links that will be provided.
